The Fear
Continuing on from last week’s episode we talk about fixing the plan and really, your minds approach to something new, and just doing it.
“Only put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone.” –Pablo Picasso
The execution of your business plan is a consideration of both risk and reward. Risk being the cost to you because of the partial or whole failure of your plan and reward being either financial, societal or success. You can’t plan to achieve any specific combination of risk and reward due to outside circumstances but the plan can assess the risks and rewards to give yourself confidence.
Fear of failure prevents many from allowing their dreams to become reality. Three ways to approach this are to consider that failure isn’t bad its acceptable, plan to learn from the failure and give yourself a break. For the fear of the unknown you should reframe your mindset and think it through then just jump in with both feet. There will always be a reason for procrastination but you can’t if you want to achieve a successful business.
As always, thank you for listening! Beth
